Obviously we have to have some rules, so here they are.
Our rental rules are simple and fair. You agree hire one of our designer garments, you take care of it, and then return it within the hire period in the same excellent condition you received it in. You can’t be fairer than that. Looking stunning has never been so easy. Enjoy.
The small print.
This agreement is an agreement to hire from Lend the Label. You have the ability to wear the garment fabulously during your period of hire. The garment is a single use and is not a right for multi person wear or more than one event.
The rental is for the period of time that has been agreed on. Just be clear, you shall have no further right to the goods at the expiry of the rental agreement and all goods must be returned as per the terms and conditions or further fees will be charged. Further fees include the full dress replacement fee up to 150% of the original cost.
Lend the Label remain the legal owner of the garment at all times.
It is our responsibility to provide you with a dress that is in great condition, if your dress arrives please contact our team within 3 hours of the dress arrival and let us know what parts of the rental were not up to scratch. Any marks outside of the 3 hour time period will be deemed as the customers responsibility.
If any rental is returned in unusable condition due to stains, cigarette marks, dirt or any other undisclosed nuances then the customer is liable for the full replacement fee's. The replacement fee is determined by Lend the Label and may be altered by us at any point.
The rental fee for the products will be all charges listed on the website in connection with your rental of the products upon submitting your order for the same. In submitting your order for the products, you agree to authorise us to charge your credit card for the rental fee. Upon submitting an order we will charge your credit card the amount of the rental fee immediately.
Should something go wrong please contact us and we can work it through with you.
If the Garment fails to return or is not in an usable state, or damage beyond normal wear and tear, you hereby authorise Lend the Label to charge you a charge of 100% of the original retail value of the rented garment.
If there is alcohol, fake tan, make up stains and other extremely dirty markings, there may be an extra dry-cleaning charge. This is up to Lend the Label discretion and we will invoice or charge you accordingly for this when returned in an unacceptable state.
Obviously should something like this happen we will contact you directly. So make sure you take care of it.
Lend the Label is a premium garment supplier. Our presentation and condition of our beautiful garments is paramount to us and to our precious customers.
If you happen to change your mind. All cancellations must be made within 24 hours from the initial online order made through our website. We will within 24 hours give you an in-store Lend the Label credit for full value of your order.
If you have a last minute change of plans once you have received your garment there will be no refund given for the rental.
However if you decide to cancel your rental a couple of weeks out from the booking, let us know and we will issue you store credit to use on another rental booking.
If the garment is not sent or dropped off within the next working day, a late fee of $50 will be charged to you. If the garment still hasn't arrive 3 working days after your booking you will be charged 100% off the rental fee again and so forth until the garment is returned. All rentals not returned after 20 days of the rental date will be charged 100% of the original retail price of the garment.

Our customers are very important to us. The Lend the Label brand is built on repeat customers. We love it when you look gorgeous in our garments.
To do this we aim to deliver immaculate and stylish garments to you promptly and professionally. We try to represent the garments factually and clearly.
By placing a booking an order with Lend the Label, we agree to deliver the garment ordered in the specified size, colour and design, on the date which you have requested delivery, and at the address requested in your order. Should you receive products which does not meet your specified size, colour and design, you agree to contact Lend the Label within 24 hours of the date on which you received the products. This can be done via email or telephone, and then return the product in the courier packaging provided in the order. We will then issue you a full credit for the rental fee, and make all reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement for the goods. Lend the Label take no liability should the goods not fit the customer due to an error in ordering the wrong size.
Our garments all have been professionally dry cleaned and are in a ready to wear state. Should you have any concerns once your garment arrives please let us now within 24 hours of receiving it.
Once the garment has been delivered to you by our speedy track’n’trace courier, you are then responsible for its safety. Look after it and it will love you back. Please make sure the address you have supplied us to deliver to has someone there to receive it, Lend the Label are not to be held responsible for non-delivery or any liability for packages that are left unattended.
Lend the Label pride itself on using New Zealand post next day guarantee delivery, but we take no responsibility for any consequences for any non or late deliveries. Very rarely a problem may occur that is out of our careful control, so should the garment not arrive in time Lend the Label will offer a full refund.
We provide a complimentary return courier service to you as part of your rental. If the Item is not returned to a Post Shop by 2pm on the following business day after your event, you will incur a late fee of $50 and an additional $30 each day until you retain the item. Nobody likes those pesky late penalties, including us!
Here’s the hard line……Lend the Label reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect any amounts due from you as outlined in this rental agreement, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies. All debt collection fees will be at your expense…we would really hate to use this option, so please don’t let it happen.
